Festival of Lights Hanukkah Shabbat

Shabbat-in-the-Round (Kindergarten – 5th Grade)
All Shearith Kindergarten through 5th Grade families are invited to celebrate the joy of Shabbat at our community Hanukkah Shabbat-in-the-Round, a spirited, joyful, and welcoming experience filled with energetic percussion.
About halfway through the service, Rabbi Adam Roffman will guide everyone from the service to a festive community dinner featuring crispy latkes, sweet sufganiyot, and a table full of delicious treats. This special evening of light, song, and celebration is perfect for all ages!

Hanukkah Heroes Shababa (Infants – Kindergarten)
Join us for a Shabbat filled with Hanukkah fun and heroics! Come dressed as a Maccabee or your favorite hero and celebrate the Festival of Lights with Rabbi Wallach and your Dor Chadash friends. We will explore stories of bravery and learn about the heroes of Hanukkah.

After the service, enjoy a delicious community dinner featuring latkes, sufganiyot, and more. Kids can also get creative with Maccabee paper shield making and other fun arts and crafts activities.
