Blessing of the Pets

Join us Friday, October 16th from 6:00 – 6:30 p.m. for a special outdoor blessing for our pets. Enjoy light refreshments for humans and pets alike before Kabbalat Shabbat services, which begin at 6:30 p.m.
Please bring one pet-food or toy donation for our Tzedakah drive
🎪 What to Expect:
Rabbi’s Blessing: A brief, beautiful community blessing during Shabbat services.
Kids’ Craft Zone: Bandana-decorating station
Plushies: Toddlers or families with indoor-only pets are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animals
Pet Photo Wall – For those with indoor-only pets or pets who have other plans and cannot attend, bring a photo of your furry friend to hang on the Pet Photo Wall
Local Vendor Swag: Meet local pet experts, grab some free swag
🦺 Safety First:
To keep all our two-legged and four-legged attendees safe, please ensure all dogs are kept on a leash. Cats, birds, and pocket pets must remain in secure travel carriers.
📦 Kibble for a Cause:
In the spirit of Tzedakah, we are hosting a donation drive for the Plano Animal Shelter. Please consider bringing canned food, dry kibble, gently used blankets, or pet toys to help animals in need across our city.
Want to help? We are looking for parent and teen volunteers to help run the kids’ craft tables!
We can’t wait to see you and your amazing pets there!
