The Shalom Award is presented annually by the Temple Shalom Brotherhood to members of the community who have worked to better the lives of others through education, caring and philanthropy. This year’s honoree is Cathy Barker, CEO of Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas, recognized for her tireless commitment to strengthening lives and building a more compassionate community.
