Community Relations
Overview
The Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas (JFGD) is part of a system of 146 Jewish Federations and hundreds of smaller “network” Jewish communities. Our local leaders raise and distribute more than $10 million annually to build thriving, safe, and inclusive Jewish communities.
With concern for more than 70,000 Jews in the greater Dallas area, JFGD serves as the central coordinating agency for the local Jewish community. We build and support community through advocacy, funding, and services.
JFGD also plays a critical role in shaping public policy by engaging with government leaders at all levels, while promoting education, civic engagement, and fostering connections between Dallas area Jews, Israel, and the global Jewish people.
