DESCRIPTION:The Rockwall County Library in partnership with the Texas Holocaust\, Genocide and Anti-Semitism Advisory Commission and the Goldrich Family Foundation presents an exhibition of the art of Polish-Jew\, Sofia Davidson\, a Holocaust survivor who fled Poland during WWII. Her work depicts life before\, during\, and after the Holocaust. It is described as embodying the true reality of the “quiet trauma” the war etched onto the souls of the survivors of Jewish families from the Holocaust. \nFrom August 14-October 14\, 2026 the exhibition will be free and open to the public during the library’s regular hours. Please check the library’s opening and closing times on their website before visiting.
