Saving your own seed is a great way to propagate water efficient plants. Many native or adapted perennial plants and wildflowers can be propagated by seed relatively easily. Learn the basic challenges and rewards of seed saving including seed selection, harvesting strategies, germination and/or dormancy requirements as well as planting times and techniques for successful reproduction of some of our favorite plants! And the BEST part of this class; prepare to get your hands dirty, as we will we make our own Texas native wildflower seed bombs and throw them at the AgriLife campus!
