Dr. Moran Bercovici is the founder of the Multidisciplinary Microfluidic Technologies Laboratory in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology. His lab develops technologies and devices that would accelerate disease detection and enable rapid, sensitive, and low-cost diagnostics at the point of need. His field of “LabonaChip” may revolutionize biochemical analysis and processing in a similar way that computer chips revolutionized data processing.
