Multimedia panel discussion with South African and Russian immigrants who settled in North Texas forty years ago. Where are they now and how have their children fared? Moderator Dr. Mark A. Goldberg, director of Jewish studies at the University of Houston, will compare and contrast the two immigration movements. Panelists include South African natives Joan and Boris Gremont of Dallas and Russian-born Alex Nason of Fort Worth. The panel discussion is open to the public followed by lunch.
