Our inaugural Girl Scouts Day at the Museum will focus on the life of Anne Frank, with each activity correlating with a different age group and Girl Scout badge. Each activity includes a short tour of our special exhibit, Anne Frank: A History for Today.

9:30 – 11:00 a.m. Scribe Badge (Juniors)
Use words to share your thoughts on the life of Anne Frank and your own views. Explore the exhibit, then spend time writing a poem, short story, or article.

10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Finding Common Ground Badge (Cadettes)
After exploring the exhibit, work in groups to explore the similarities and differences between you and Anne Frank. Where do you find common ground? How is your life different than hers? Discuss what rights were violated during this time and how violations like these could be mediated.

11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Truth Seeker Badge (Seniors)
Explore different sources on the life of Anne Frank, including the special exhibit. Evaluate these sources to determine if they’re biased or truthful. Write a short article about your findings.

Space is limited. $4/person, email ablack@dallasholocaustmuseum.org to reserve.
