DJHS Lecture Series: Making Historical Choices with Rabbi Kenneth D. Roseman
Rabbi Roseman is a graduate of Oberlin College and was ordained as a rabbi in 1966 at the Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati, Ohio. He Holds a Ph.D. degree in American-Jewish History, and has taught at Southern Methodist University and Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. Prior to coming to Corpus Christi in 2002, he served congregations in Dallas and Madison, WI; and spent eight years on the faculty of his seminary as Assistant Professor of History, and Dean. Among his prize-winning books is Lone Stars of David, a history of Texas Jews he co-edited with Hollace Weiner; and an enormously popular series of history books for adolescent readers.
