THE LAST MENTSCH
After surviving the Holocaust, Menachem Teitelbaum remained in Germany, claiming to be the gentile Marcus Schwartz. Growing old, he suddenly feels the urge to be buried in a Jewish cemetery, but cannot prove he is Jewish. Thus begins his poignant and desperate search, in Hungary, to prove his Jewish identity.
