CBT's Mark A. Siegel Speaker Series Presents MAGGIE ANTON

Congregation Beth Torah's Mark A. Siegel Speaker Series presents author MAGGIE ANTON for a sizzling, sensuous weekend about Talmud -- that's right! Author Maggie Anton will reveal how ancient Jewish sages were more progressive and more bawdy, than one might think. The program will take place in three parts on Friday October 19 and Saturday October 20. Immediately following services on Friday at 8:30 pm - Women Rashi's Time - It Wasn't the Dark Ages for Them, then Saturday after services and lunch at 12:30 pm Sorcery - Women's Role in Healing and the concluding program will be Saturday at 7:30 pm with dinner with Maggie and a book signing and she will speak about What the First Rabbi's Had to Say About - You- Know- What. Sponsor levels - The Enchantress - $360 and includes 2 tickets to the weekend events. Rashi's Daughters - $180 and includes one ticket to the weekend events. Event tickets are available $90 for the weekend for non-CBT members and there is a student rate of $18 for the weekend. Registration will close October 15, 2018. Proceeds benefit CBT's Congregational Learning Center programming.
