Connecticut College Professor of Philosophy Dr. Andrew Pessin and Fordham University Professor of History Dr. Daron Ben-Atar, will speak on “Israel, BDS, and Campus Life: A Discussion of the Complexities of Jewish Identity in the American Academy,” the topic of their recent book, "Anti-Zionism on Campus: The University, Free Speech, and BDS" (University of Indiana Press, 2018). Pessin and Ben-Atar will share their own experiences and those of other professors and students who speak up for Israel on campus and the consequences of these actions. They will also share their research on Israel-related events and anti-Israel activities at academic institutions. The event is free and open to the public.
