A national program of recognition through the Women's Campaign. The Lion of Judah symbol has come to signify the dedication and commitment to mobilize ideas, as well as human and financial resources. The Lion of Judah diamond inset 14-karat gold pin was created for the woman making a personal pledge to the annual campaign of at least $5,000. There are five established levels of giving for the Lion of Judah program. The Diamond Lion at $5,000; the Ruby Lion at $10,000; the Sapphire Lion at $18,000; the Emerald Lion at $25,000; and the Canary Diamond (Zahav) Lion at $50,000. The appropriate stone is set in the eye of the Lion pin. Any recipient of the Lion of Judah pin who renews her commitment of at least $5,000 in a subsequent year is entitled to an additional diamond to be placed in the pin. An annual event is held locally to recognize and honor these women.
